Contemporary House

Restrained contemporary home: white volumes, anodised aluminium and a single oak threshold cutting through the plan.

Located in the ancient city of Anuradhapura, this private residence called for a contemporary design that respects the cultural and historical character of its surroundings without mimicking it. IMARK RENDER produced the concept design and full visualization — a composition of clean white render and anodised aluminium openings unified by a single continuous oak threshold element that runs from the entrance gate through to the rear garden.
