Barber's Place
Location
Narammala, Sri Lanka

Brief
A proposed barber shop at Narammala — raw brick, exposed overhead structure and carefully directed task lighting within a compact, characterful interior.
A first-time business owner in Narammala commissioned IMARK RENDER to design a barber shop that would stand out from the generic shopfront interiors common to the town's commercial strip. Working within a very modest budget, the studio developed a raw but refined aesthetic — exposed brick and overhead steel structure left deliberately unfinished, with the design effort concentrated on the quality of directional task lighting at each barber station and on a custom-built backbar display that doubles as the shop's signature piece.
