Aqua Villa

A villa conceived around water — the pool terrace as the plan's organising element, with living spaces oriented to frame the aquatic landscape at every turn.

MAARAA Architects commissioned IMARK RENDER to visualize this residential villa in Kaduwela where water — a large infinity pool extending the full width of the rear garden — is the central organizing principle of the design. Every living space on the ground floor is oriented to look across or over the pool, and the visualization was constructed to communicate this relationship: the pool's reflected light plays across interior ceilings in multiple renders, reinforcing the pervasive presence of water throughout the home.
